Good afternoon Ma’am and Sir and
to my classmate, this is my speech to Sigmund Freud and to his philosophy. First I'll give you qoute came from Freud, example quotes of Freud is “We are what we are because we have been what we have
been”.
First do you know who is
Freud?... Sigmund Freud, the father of psychoanalysis, was a physiologist,
medical doctor, psychologist and influential thinker of the early twentieth
century. Freud was born in Frieberg, Moravia in 1856, but when
he was four years old his family moved to Vienna where he was to live and work
until the last years of his life. He always considered himself first and
foremost a scientist. He concentrated initially on biology, doing research in
physiology for six.
The Neuroses
and structure of mind, Freud’s account of the unconscious, and the
psychoanalytic therapy associated with it, is best illustrated by his famous
tripartite model of the structure of the mind or personality. Freud
distinguished three structural elements within the mind, which he called id, ego, and super-ego.
The id is that part of the mind
in which are situated the instinctual sexual drives which require satisfaction;
the super-ego is that
part which contains the "conscience," namely, socially-acquired control
mechanisms which have been internalized, and which are usually imparted in the
first instance by the parents; while the ego is
the conscious self that is created by the dynamic tensions and interactions
between the id and the super-ego and has the task
of reconciling their conflicting demands with the requirements of external
reality. It is in this sense that the mind is to be understood as a dynamic
energy-system. All objects of consciousness reside in the ego; the contents of the id belong permanently to
the unconscious mind; while the super-ego is
an unconscious screening-mechanism which seeks to limit the blind
pleasure-seeking drives of the id by
the imposition of restrictive rules.
The philosophy of neuroses and structure of mind by Sigmund Freud. In my
simple explanation according to Freud I will discuss the philosophy of Freud. I
know that we have different mindset or structure of mind but in this philosophy
of Freud tells that theirs three main structure of our mind, the tripartite
model: id, ego and superego. We know that everyone of us have different ideas
for decision making but in this philosophy tells the three major part for
decision making. Id the first part, when we are a child this is our mindset for
decision making, this is where the part of our mind that always want for
anything. For example I want that, I want you, I want to do that, I want etc.
Like a child id is taking over the curiosity so it always telling to us “want”.
The ego, this is for the adult but know I think we are now the ego part because
were always think before we do something or in other words we plan or think
what happen if we do that. In this part our mind set is more on awareness for
decision making. The example of ego is when where going outside with our
friends without permission of our parent, the ego going the function, where our
mind think or planned if we are going to do that or not. This is the second
part of our mindset that controlling the two par, id and superego. Last one the
superego, if there is a blue team sure that there is a red team, this is the
opposite of our mindset id. Superego is the last part of our mindset for
decision making, some of us having this decision making in some reason like we
are taking laziness, we don’t want to do something or anything or when we are
phobiatic so we have fear in something so our decision making is I don’t want
that and etc. Superego is always saying no or I don’t want, for example you are
going to jump in the water but you have fear in height so you backup for
jumping. In superego our mindset is not thinking literally for decision making
just always don’t want that or I don’t like and etc. This is three major parts
or our structure of mind in decision making the id, ego and last superego. In
my explanation this is not in terms of sexual.
For me, I know to myself that this is reason why sometimes in my 16
years of existence in this world their a thing to myself that I always think
that why I want that, the reason why I think first before doing that and why I
don’t like that. Now I know that there’s a part of mind that thinks for that
three mindset.
